About Us

The Business Okanagan Referral Group (BORG) was created in 2008 to generate interest in the local Vernon business community.

The group began with 8 original members, and has expanded to over 35 local businesses in under 2 years.

BORG is proud to have some of the strongest businesses in Vernon as members, and is always looking for new Vernon business people who are interested in the group.  Recently over the course of one two week period between BORG meetings, a total of 60 referrals were generated between the various businesses involved in the group.

BORG members enjoy the support of an 'army' of local business owners, which results in higher levels of brand exposure and awareness, new leads, and a stronger business presence in the local Vernon marketplace.

Please Contact Us if you are interested in enjoying the benefits of being a member in BORG.

Members of the Business Okanagan Referral Group (BORG) are held to the following values:

1. Business referrals will be generated from members of the group whenever possible.

2. Telephone or email messages left with other members of the group will be returned as soon as possible and within no more than 24 hours.

3. All of your client referrals will be treated with exceptional professionalism and courtesy.

4. All referrals given will be thanked in a timely and professional manner.

5. Other members of the group will support you by attending 80% of the meetings and will not miss more than 2 meetings in a row.

If you are interested in learning more about BORG, please select Contact and fill out the appropriate form.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
